I almost always have a PowerShell window open, so when I want to logoff, I simply type 'logoff' into PowerShell - that even faster that going to the old Start Select it, and it will start to transmit your mobile screen to your laptop or desktop. There, you will see an option named Screen Mirror, and clicking there will bring another option named Lonely Screen. Open the application you want to stream, and then swipe down or up to enter the menu bar. Without it (just one or two I was playing with the see what everybody was complaining about). Step-2: Import Phone’s Screen on Computer.
Administrators generally aren't interested in a desktop experience - I have almost all my servers AfterĪll, if you are installing the desktop experience, you must want a desktop experience, which implies the modern interface.Īnd why do you have 'people' logging into a server? That should only be administrators logging in there (yes, I know, they are 'special' people).

It changes to the modern interface when you install the desktop experience, which makes all the sense in the world. bat file that has one line in it:Īnd to correct a mis-statement in the original post, the modern interface is not the default on Windows Server 2012. But does anyone have a solution involving the use of just one computer? Thank you in advance for you help.Or, if they want a great big button to hit, simply create a shortcut that resides on the desktop and name it something obvious, like "Logoff". I do know of several workarounds using more than one computer. I realize there is a lot of misinformation on some of the Youtube How-To videos regarding the use of Powerpoint with OBS. I've been to several PowerPoint User Group meetings and everyone shares the same issue with OBS, whether they are using laptops or desktops. And when you shrink the OBS screen, you loose the ability to use any of the controls in OBS. 'People can be around others and feel lonely anyway or they can be. As soon as you shrink the Powerpoint display, you no longer have the ability to advance the slides. And just as solitude doesn't equate to loneliness necessarily, interaction doesn't mean fulfilment for everyone, Hawkley said.

Although the slides will easily display within the OBS program, you cannot advance the slides with the computer keyboard or even with a remote control, unless the PowerPoint host computer is displaying full screen. I hoped OBS would make this easy, BUT you cannot advance the various slides in PP unless PowerPoint is displayed full screen.

I own one pair of Airpods Pro and JBL TWS Live Pro.
With the Corona Virus scare I am using Facebook Live Groups for my presentations so that participants can avoid public gatherings and be trained form the comfott of their homes or offices. However, I am not sure if it worked or not - me myself have just tried to do it and all I achieved was to get the possibilty to change a name - no Share Audio tho. I've conduct training on location in 40 cities a year using PowerPoint. I just know OBS is more complicated than I initially thought. Solution could be for them to stream their powerpoint presentation in gotomeeting, or fb like etc and then you have a web window open with their presentation, use OBS capture window and place it in your screen with your other stuff - might lead to latency issues, I don't know. You can't click and manipulate OBS during or it will have OBS as the active window and the presenters clicker will do nothing to their presentation and then things get awkward when they look at you like wtf. You have second screen for the person to see the slideshow and control the slideshow with a clicker or whatever Only issue is you have to control the slideshow from your laptop unless. in obs you can use "window capture" and select the powerpoint screen -slideshow in playback mode so you can adjust the size of the window captured in the obs appropriately with the size of the slideshow taking up the full screen of the window.ĭoing this, you can add more things to capture area with your slideshow like a video of the presenter, titles etc.

Here's how to do that: Open Windows Firewall by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Security, and then clicking Windows Firewall. To make LonelyScreen work properly, please allow it to communicate through the firewall. you can then start slideshow to make it fill the window By default, most programs are blocked by Windows Firewall, to help make your computer more secure. Then under slideshow type - second option to see slideshow in window Then it will work as a VNC server to share the iPhone screen with the computer and control a third-party device.

To remotely control an iPhone with a broken screen, at first, you need to download this app on your iPhone. Configure Slideshow or Slideshow settings at the top under slideshow tab If your jailbreak iPhone screen is broken and is still accessible now, you can use it this way.
